United States Post Office, Tampa, Florida.
In early spring of 2020, Sandra Leppert was in a long line at her local post office and noticed how busy it was. With COVID becoming more prevalent each day, she noticed the employees had temporary structures in place, but realized she could offer a more permanent solution to the USPS for their employees as well as their many customers. She saw the need and designed a solution for the first post office which is in Tampa, Florida. Her company designed and produced tempered glass safety barriers with stainless steel hardware. It didn’t take long before other post offices added the new people protection panels.
To date, Sandra Leppert & Associates has installed an additional 16 post office locations with materials that are firmly in place and surfaces that are easily cleaned – a more permanent solution to social distancing.
